In Memory of Reagan

The loss of Reagan has left a huge void in our hearts. We miss him daily and he's obviously in our thoughts from the moment we wake until we go to bed at night. It is so true when they say that grief comes in waves and out of nowhere. Sometimes a song or seeing a child his age can trigger one to have crying outbursts but then there's those times when there are no triggers and an overwhelming feeling of sadness just hits and the tears freely flow.
There are still times when I question, and the unfairness of losing Reagan is always present. It just cannot be avoided. I don't think it's got anything to do with having faith in God, I think it's just part of the grieving process.

Besides from acquiring mementos for Reagan I also wanted to do something that will help others. I want his name to be spoken, I want him to be thought of. So, every month for as long as I'm able to we will make donations to charities that are dear to my heart in memory of Reagan.

In January we donated to The Wounded Warrior Project.
In February we donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
In March we donated to March of Dimes.

Reagan gets a letter in the mail every month from the charities we donated to in his memory. Whenever we receive mail with his name on it -it brings a smile to my face.

I want to take this time to thank loved ones that remembered Reagan on what would have been his due date, March 5th. It means everything to us when you remember our angel. Thankful that even though he's not here with us you still remember him and acknowledge that he mattered and that he did live even if it was for a very short time. He is still part of our family, we are still a family of six. By remembering Reagan often you are letting us know that you love us so, thank you again from the bottom of our hearts.

Grief is not a disorder, a disease, or a sign of weakness.
It is an emotional, physical and spiritual necessity, the
price you pay for love. The only cure for grief is to grieve.
